An early photograph around 1861 of the western end of Bourke Street where it meets Spring Street. Photograph attributed to Charles Nettleton. The Old White Hart Hotel seen in the 1858 photograph (one wonders how it got the tag of "old" in such a short time) has been rebuilt as the White Hart Hotel and extended south along Spring Street.
Notes from the State Library tell us that this image is a "View of Bourke Street looking west from Spring Street."
